1. IDEA’s Scientific Members are its most valuable resource.
2. Any registered physician with an interest in Diabetes, Metabolism and Endocrinology can become a member. Please download the form from this site, fill it up and send it to IDEA’s office in Word form.
3. A Scientific Member will be automatically invited to all our CME’s and meetings, which are free. Self registration for IDEACON will be at a discount of 50% of the standard delegate fees.
4. We are very keen to monitor attendance in our meetings. This affects the choice of venue for our meetings and avoids food wastage.
5. All attendees at our CME’s are requested to register their attendance.
6. A member who has not attended 8 consecutive CME’s will be dropped from active membership but may reapply.
7. All applications for Scientific Membership will be vetted by our Screening Committee and a decision taken within 6 months of application. An application may be unsuccessful for various reasons: most commonly extremes of age or living far away from our venues. Unsuccessful persons may reapply after 1 year. There will be a one time fee of Rs 2000.00.
8. A member who ceases active practice should withdraw from membership by writing a note to our office.
9. Members can be chairpersons in our CME’s and in IDEACON.
10. Our programmes reflect the interests and concerns of our scientific members. Scientific members are requested to send feedback at all times. Please rest assured every submission will be read by us.
